You can download your Aadhaar card PDF (e-Aadhaar) from the official UIDAI website by following these steps:

Method 1: Download from UIDAI Website

1. Visit https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/
2. Click Download Aadhaar.
3. Enter any one of the following:
   • Aadhaar Number (12 digits)
   • Enrolment ID (EID)
   • Virtual ID (VID)
4. Enter the CAPTCHA code.
5. Click Send OTP.
6. Enter the OTP received on your Aadhaar-registered mobile number.
7. Click Verify & Download.
8. The e-Aadhaar PDF will be downloaded.

PDF Password

The downloaded PDF is password-protected.

The password is:

• First 4 letters of your name (in CAPITAL letters) + Year of Birth (YYYY)

Example:

• Name: Rahul Kumar
• Year of Birth: 1995
• Password: RAHU1995

Method 2: Download via mAadhaar App

1. Install the mAadhaar app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
2. Log in using your registered mobile number.
3. Select Download Aadhaar.
4. Verify using OTP and download the PDF.

If your mobile number is not linked

If your Aadhaar-registered mobile number is not active or not linked, you cannot download the Aadhaar PDF online using OTP authentication. In that case, visit your nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra or Aadhaar Enrolment/Update Centre to update your mobile number.
