Description

An NPS Card (e-PRAN) can be downloaded digitally through your designated Central Recordkeeping Agency (Protean CRA or KFintech CRA) or via DigiLocker.

1.Check your registered CRA portal:Protean CRA or KFintech CRA.

Identify which CRA manages your NPS account (check your welcome SMS/email). Visit either the Protean CRA Portal or the KFintech NPS Portal.

2.Log in to your subscriber account:

Enter your 12-digit PRAN as the User ID along with your password. Complete the captcha and click Submit.

3.Navigate to e-PRAN download section:

Go to the main menu bar, click on Views / Demographic Changes, and select Download e-PRAN / View PRAN Card.

4.Authenticate & Download PDF:

Choose to download the digital card. If prompted, verify via the OTP sent to your registered mobile/email ID.

Alternative: Download via DigiLocker

  1. Open the DigiLocker app/website and sign in.

  2. Search for Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) under Document Issuers.

  3. Select e-PRAN Document / PRAN Card.

  4. Enter your 12-digit PRAN number and Date of Birth to fetch and save your verified e-PRAN PDF directly.

PDF Password Format:

The downloaded e-PRAN PDF is typically password-protected. The default password is your Date of Birth in DDMMYYYY format (e.g., 05081995 if born on 5 August 1995).
