In Andhra Pradesh, the Senior Citizen ID Card can be applied for and downloaded through the MeeSeva portal or by visiting a MeeSeva center.
Here’s the process step-by-step:
1️⃣ Apply for the Senior Citizen Card
If you don’t already have the card, you first need to apply:
Online Method:
Go to MeeSeva AP official website → https://ap.meeseva.gov.in
Search for “Senior Citizen Certificate” service.
Download the application form or apply online if the option is available.
Fill in details such as:
Name, DOB, Gender
Aadhaar Number
Address
Proof of age (Aadhaar, Birth Certificate, etc.)
Proof of residence (Ration Card, Voter ID, etc.)
Recent passport-size photograph
Upload the documents and submit the application.
Pay the prescribed fee (if any) online.
Note down the Application Number for tracking.
Offline Method:
Visit your nearest MeeSeva center.
Fill the “Senior Citizen Certificate” form.
Submit documents and photograph.
They will process and issue the certificate/card.
2️⃣ Download Senior Citizen Card (if already issued)
If you have already applied and it has been approved:
Go to MeeSeva AP portal → https://ap.meeseva.gov.in
Click on “MeeSeva Certificate Search”.
Enter:
Transaction/ Application ID
Applicant Name
Date Range (optional)
Click Search.
If your card is ready, you will see a Download option in PDF format.
Save and print it — you can also laminate it like a PVC card.
💡 Tip:
Some districts in AP also issue Senior Citizen cards via the District Collector’s Office or Municipal Office, so if you can’t find it online, you may contact them with your Aadhaar and proof of age.
